 Rating:  - Slows your computer downIt is a fairly good product, however it slows down your computer. I installed the program on a high-end 3.5 ghz P4 processor, yet my start up is ever so slow. I would recommend Kaspersky which I have also received through the Vine program as a much better product. Apart from this, Norton is fairly easy to install, and in my opinion is foolproof. Thus, for novice users not running too many programs on their desktops/laptops, this may be a more viable option. Rating:  - Excellent PieceProvides excellent internet security, free updates, user friendly and more and more features... Easy to install even though it takes some more time than the previous product. But it covers more area and therefore it overcomes that deficit. It gives maximum security and I highly recommend this product. I actually purchased the version 1 nearly 7 months back but recently it has been upgraded free to version 2 by Norton! ...Great news!! Rating: - One of the BestThis is an excellent package. It works well and covers everything that you need for peace of mind and protection. I like the backup facility, which doesn't take long as once its done the first backup only backs up changes from then on. Checking what 360 has done while your not at your computer is ease and lets you manualy do things if you want. Rating: - QUIRKYExcellent product, but can be quirky with Vista. Version one had a quirk where it stopped working and was a pain to fix, and the free online storage for backup was not enough and was very tricky to operate. Version 2 was much improved although it is easier to back up to a USB hard drive as the free storage is still too small. Overall a good product, probably the best paid for product on the market, but like all Anti Virus not totally foolproof against attack. Rating: - Okay for novicesInstallation was hassle free, and the program runs in the background without any apparently loss of performance and does not require much user intervention - this is a plus, as I prefer this sort of thing to sit there and do its job without constantly popping up questions. You get an occasional advice box, but that's about it. |
