 Rating: - Great product if want the best of both Worlds (Mac & PC)I could almost live without having a Windows PC, but I do have a few applications which are Windows only, that I couldn't really do without. So finding and reading about Parallels Desktop, I decided it would be the best way that I could have both a Mac and a PC should I need one from time to time. Installation was very simple, and a lot simpler than I thought it would be. But what really blew me away was how quick I can have a Windows compatible PC up and running when I need it. Roughly 10 seconds is all it takes for starting Windows XP, that must be some kind of record, I've never know any computer to start a Windows operating system so quickly. You won't believe this, but it shuts down even quicker, mine does it in about 5 ... Read More Rating: - Software that just worksGreat software that got me out of a hole by allowing me to install Windows 2000 on a Mac Pro so that I could run a vital legacy application that only runs on Windows 2000 (an OS long discarded).
