| 'Hamlet' can be written about in so many ways. The tragedy which runs throughout is of great importance to the structure of the play's plot, the development of the many interesting characters, and the final bloodthirsty conclusion. Shakespeare carefully and thoroughly develops the character of Hamlet to display him as a person who suffers a weakness in making concrete decisions; like the typical young man that Shakespeare considers, Hamlet dithers, is led astray by wondering thoughts and even fears, and eventually falls into an abyss of madness which few other characters in literature can be seen to do. The book itself is well laid out, with a decent foreword and endnotes. Recommended. |

| You don't need me to tell you Twelfth Night is a wonderful play -- what you need is this new Penguin edition, which has the best introduction to the play on the market and at the lowest price going. The introductory material on the play's themes and its possibilities in the theatre and on screen is nearly as funny, sexy and engaging as the play itself. I'm almost glad my old Arden copy fell apart so that I had to buy this one -- it really is fresher and livelier. |

| This is a great little book. The main thing being that it is a little book, intended for taking into the field and stuffing in your pocket. It covers the most common weeds you're likely to find, with excellent pictures from early germination to more mature seedling/plant. It also has clear diagrams of the main features to look out for and the usual basic information on the plants themselves. It has handy summaries of the cotyledon and seedling photos for quick reference and is very easy to use. The only thing is that it's lacking a few more species as i dont think its extensive enough. Its a great starting point but it is likely that more information is liekly to be needed for extensive identification. Read More |

Star crossed lovers, balconies and funny costumes really got the cobwebs blown out of it when Baz Luhrman took on the project in film version - to unfortunate critical failure, and now the books are trying to shake themselves up to reflect modern readers requirements and expectations similarly by "Bringing Shakespeare to life for a new generation".
This series of 32 books was part of a relaunch by Penguin in 2005, covering most of the well known and lesser known plays by Mr Will.
