| I have bought both this book and "Creating Garden Ponds and Water Features" (ISBN 0007106602), but this on is the only one you will really need. Despite its rather small size, and shorter number of pages, it contains all the essential information. Pictures are also quite small, but they are very nice and serve their purpose, so are quite enough. The book is very complete, from choosing a spot for your pond, a style, all the way to emptying the pond for repairs. It has a short section on water plants as well, offering a good selection, but at that point you will want to move on to your plant books to have more information. | I Loved this book!!! A friend lent it to me and I fell in Love with it I had to have it. It teaches you so much. Things I never new, ideas I would of never thought of, solves dying plant problems. It is a great book for the novice gardener who wants to learn more or the experienced gardener. It is the most helpful plant book I have found. Not to mention it has great ideas for kids!! It is a must have. I hope all that have it enjoy it as much as I have. My kids have benefited from it too. They love the neat things I come up with for them!!!! Hope you buy this book. I highly reccommend it!!! |
