| I bought this book as a present for someone, and had a look through it before I wrapped it, and it really did capture my attention. These trees are like mother nature's sculptures! Each one different, each one unique and very beautiful. The photography in the book is breath-taking and they really have caught the majesty of some of the most amazing trees in the World. Twisted and contorted, or tall and elegant, the range is wide and each tree shown in the book seems to have its own character. The description and history that goes with each picture is well written and expressive. | This book is well-written, informative and useful. However, I think it would have been greatly improved if the lists of natives plants had been accompanied by photos, which would make the selection of plants much easier for less experienced gardeners. |
