| What I liked about this book was the fact that the pages were not given over to extensive arty shots of ingredients at odd angles, but were packed with recipes - which, after all is why books should be bought - not just to look good on bookshelves.
The book strikes a fine balance, using authentic ingredients, but never resorting to exotics - you won't find yourself searching the Internet to order strange spices that a dish can't manage without. Listing the recipes in logical sections was much appreciated - the next time I need a side dish for example, I can quickly turn to the relevant part of the book. | This book is amazing! I find myself using it on a daily basis to look things up as well as using the recipes. It's great for people like me who do not have a clue about cooking as it is very easy to follow. Even if you are a good cook already, you will find this book invaluable for giving you ideas on what to give your little one. I think my daughter would be living on jars of baby food if I hadn't bought this book! |

| This is a super little book, containing a wealth of interesting and tasty recipes, all of which require the use of a single pot. They range from quick simple dishes such as Speedy Salmon and Leeks to more elaborate creations suitable for serving at dinner parties. We've tried lots of recipes from this book and have been pleased with the results of them all; the instructions are easy to follow, the ingredients are all easily available and the results are super. Many of the recipes are quick to prepare and cook, making it an ideal collection for day-to-day cooking after work, with the added bonus of limited washing up! Particular favourites include Broccoli Lemon Chicken, Pork with Apples and the aforementioned Speedy Salmon and Leeks. |

| When I stopped dieting and decided that I'd eat foods I loved and really enjoy cooking again, this book provided lots of wonderful ideas and I enjoy following her recipes and adapating them. I love Nigella's attitude to food. Her dishes are full of flavour and colour - so welcome after years of low fat, low sugar, low everything in a vain attempt to get the perfect body - ironicaly I've lost loads of weight and kept it off, cooking myself and my family lovely meals from this book. | Great recipes that work! not only excellent bed-time reading but a full on working cook book that no kitchen should be without.Clear, exciting recipes, great flavour combinations, easy to read and the photography is simply fantastic. Buy for your family and friends, they will love you forever.

| Not a great book.
Note the apostophe in the title - this is Gordon Ramsey branded, but he only wrote the intro. The recepies are by his trusty side-kick Sarge. The recepies themselves are all pretty simple, basic stuff - not what you would hope (or expect) from Gordon Ramsey. Save your money and spend it elsewhere! |

| I really love this book, the recipes are very easy and tasty, my baby loves them!!!.
If I didn't have the book, I would have never used broccoli, nor onion on a purée for example. This book has been an excellent guide to me. The author also gives very good nutritional tips. I'm very happy to have this book and I would recommend it to first time parents without a doubt. |

| I bought this book, as i have just moved out of my parents house without any knowledge of cooking. I bought this book on a whim, and i have nearly done all the meals in the book. most of the ingredients u can find in a kitchen cupboard, which is great on a tight bugdet, all the meals i have cooked so far from this book are very tastey, and something i never thought i would be able to make, but the instructions are very simple and easy to follow. seriously recommend to any student or parents worried about their kids burnin down thier kitchen. great starter pack for any novice like myself. |

| This little gem of a book should be in every backpackers back pocket. Concise, focused and descriptive you'll have no trouble identifying the plants and shellfish. There has been some comments about lack of information on animals to eat, this is probably because rabbits, pheasants and such are classed as game and will belong to the landowner. Whilst it's ok to pick a few plants, mushrooms and shellfish it will probably be frowned on if you start blasting away at the countryside or setting traps! |
