| This book started off really well, the characters were believable and the plot was interesting enough to get me hooked. When the plans for revenge were unfolded between the two women, I couldn't put the book down. I wanted to see what they were going to do to him and with each new drama, I was drawn further and further in as James' life unfolds dramatically around him with seemingly no idea who's behind it all. But then something odd happens, it's almost as if the author had a change of heart half way through because the story goes from this, to a less dramatic story of a woman getting over the break up of her marriage and moving on to a new relationship. | 'This Charming Man' is Marion's best so far. It is truly moving, horrifying, funny, sad and exciting. The tale of a psychopath and the women who fell for him. I particularly liked Lola but the other women were also engaging and likable. A page turner form start to finish. Not a light read or even 'chic-lit' but an excellent contemporary novel with a very serious undertone. |

| I've read all of Adele Parks books, and thoroughly enjoyed them all. This book has a different pace to the other books, but again, I couldn't put it down! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who fancies a good summer holiday read. |

| this is my first barbara erskine novel , and as soon as I read the synopsis , i felt i just had to read it... I finished it in a day ... can't put it down, the story is so engaging , feel a bit long sometimes in the middle , but it soon pick up and just hooked you till the end... I'm now excitedly browsing for more of her book... |

| Having loved a couple of Katie Fforde books in particular the Rose Revived, I didn't hesitate to buy this one - I hate to say that I didn't get past chapter 3....I found it cheesy and frankly tedious...sorry x |

| Not someone properly suited for such a task, I can tell you that. What I can do, however, is give an honest and heartfelt account of what I thought of Jane Austen's 'PRIDE & PREJUDICE'. I have always wanted to read some of the classics but have never up until now dug up the courage to actually do so. I thought if I was going to start reading a classic novel Jane Austen would probably be a good author to start with and what better choice was there than her stand out 'PRIDE & PREJUDICE' ? I was pleased to find out that I was absolutely right. 'PRIDE & PREJUDICE' has to be one of the most romantic novels that I have ever read. | It normally takes me months to read a book but this one had me hooked within minutes; I couldn't put it down and managed to read it in just two days.
As with all of Jill's books, everyone ended up with the most suitable partner; getting there was both tortuous and a delight, although at times the hoped-for outcome seemed out of reach. I thoroughly enjoyed it. |

| I've read all Sophie's shopaholic books, and I'm happy to report this is just as good. As usual with her books, it has it's share of laugh out loud moments, and my only complaint about it, is that it's too short, I didn't want it to end. This is chick lit romantic comedy at it's best. |
