| I all but gave up buying wine until someone bought me one of these. I became frustrated by tipping half a bottle of good red wine down the sink a day after opening it when it had gone off, or feeling that I had to finish the bottle, and so feel worse for drink the day after. This item has changed all that. I no longer have to think about the waste if I just want a glass or two from a bottle. Simply push in the rubber bung and use the pump to suck all the air out. The wine keeps well for at least a week like this, and so is the perfect gizmo, if like me, you are a one or two glass per night regular wine drinker. | As a very heavy drinker, I find this ideal as it slips into my suit pocket perfectly. I can sneak a slug of absinthe anywhere! At work, on the tube, at family gatherings, and they're none the wiser. Well, I think one person suspects at work, but im going to make sure they get the sack so its ok. |

| I purchased this as a present and it arrived with the Measuring Cup missing and the box in bad condition. I was disappointed with the presentation of the product too and would not be happy giving it as the present it was intended to be. It did not seem worth £16. |

| I have had one of these since July 2003. It still performs reliably and has no faults. Although now imitated at much lower prices the reviews of competitiors and my own less happy experiences with a cheap copy suggest that for heavy use the original will be the better long-term bet. |
