| futurama, the science fiction cartoon brought to you by those who made the simpsons, returns for another tv movie. like the first one in this range, bender's big score, it's actually four episodes that form one long story joined together in one long 85 minute movie.
and anyone who says it's not funny is absolutely right. because it's not funny. It's absolutely hilarious! slightly better paced as a movie than bender's big score, the jokes just keep coming and the pace never lets up for eighty five minutes as a result. and very very funny these jokes are. the film follows on directly from the cliffhanger ending of bender's big score, but you don't need to have watched that in order to get into this. the story ... | i havent cried so much since 'bridges of madison county', it really got to me this film, it was brilliantly acted and i could see the scenario, not so much the one night thing, but the aftermath being experienced in modern day society. How the characters changed and started to interact less with each other really upset me, You have to watch this film!! |

| the simpsons are still coming up with the same old rubbish but futurama is brilliant and series three contains my personal favourite episode "a tale of two santas" and my favourite moment as the crew try to save bender dressed as santa and they all enter the room saying "im santa clause" and zoidberg comes in and says "and I'm his friend Jesus!" absolute classic |

| Space Jam as a movie has always held a special place in my heart. Being 12 years old as of this review, I have to say this movie has aged really well. Starring a real comic legend in Bill Murray and an acting great, Danny DeVito doing a voice over; this movie was destined to succeed. The real surprise for everyone was the performance of Michael Jordan. Although not exactly Sidney Poitier he did his job of being the face of this movie and when you make a movie with basketball as the main focus, you couldn't not have Michael Jordan.
The story goes that aliens from a theme park world named Moron Mountain, need a new attraction. Whilst throwing around ideas the evil boss, Mr. Swackhammer decides that he must get the Looney Tunes. He sends his cronies to Looney ... Read More |

| this dvd has no new episodes. but if you have been listening to the commentaries on the other dvds this one has a great one on a never before seen anamatic!!!! only get this if you like the commentaries, or you desperately want to se a picture of matt greoning and david cohen with al gore |

| Loved it. Got it by accident a few years ago, watched it again last night for the first time in a year with the kids ( 8 5 and 3) and everyone enjoyed it. Stylish animation from Matt Groening...catchy tunes from Michael Stipe (including the lovely opening song "I love Valentine's Day and the 4th of July, I feel a little bit bad when Halloween has gone by..." it's just a great heartwarming story for all the family. And makes a change from all the other Christmas dross on TV. If you have kids, or even if you don't, go and buy it. Now....Go. |

| Well, what can you say about a show like Futurama that I haven't already disclosed in the review title? The truth is, this show could not have existed without The Simpsons, which is an excellent show in it's own right, and has more fans than Futurama namely because the family situations - in the early seasons at least - could be related to by millions. And that's fine, but those who prefer more off-kilter and esoteric humour with sharp satire in abundance, set in space with a dysfunctional family yet to be rivalled by any other show of its kind should find at least a couple of handfuls of things to enjoy in this series.
Be warned: it's not as much a 'pick-up-and-go' attempt, as so many of the 21st centuries disposable programs have been. You have to know where you ... Read More |

| Three feature-length Scooby-Doo cartoons circa 1998-2000: Zombie Island, Witch's Ghost and Alien Invaders. The gang's all here and in fine form in these three tales. Zombie Island is a 5-star classic, although rated PG "some mild horror" it might be unsuitable for younger kids (I thought it was pretty scary, anyway ...). All three movies will provide repeat-viewing entertainment. Definitely a worthwhile acquisition for Scooby fans.
