| If you're a rock fan, buy it. I was there that night so this was a must buy for me but Dave Grohl put it best and I quote "welcome to the best f*****g night of my whole entire life". He's a big time Zep fan and seeing him back on drums with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones playing like it's 1977 again is worth the asking price alone. This is one for those Saturday nights when you've been out and had a few beers, get home and want to carry on partying; stick it on, turn it up and dream of Madison Square Garden in the 70s. Simply awesome. |

| Once again a spectacular performance by a great band!
Within Temptation have excelled once again bringing an exciting live show to DVD. The choir and orchestra really do complete this live show and make it stand out from their other live DVD's, and once again Sharon's vocals are amazing and truly beautiful. Having seen Within Temptation live 6 times over the last few years I really WISH i could have been at this show...I can only hope they may attempt this feat again in the future with equal or more success than they had with this one. |

| After the dull effort of the Live Over Europe CD that came out last year I decided to buy this DVD to see if it would be better than the CD. Well no and I am sorry to say that Genesis have past their sell by date. If they carry on they should call themselves Zimmer and The Frames. Big mistake not involving Ray Wilson who gave Genesis an edge with Calling All Stations. I also hate the concert on 2 DVDs why not put the extras on disc 2 and have the full concert on one disc. Although thinking about it I'm sure it's on 2 discs so that the viewer can have a sleep. The documentary DVD is a bit better but not much. It's a real shame that a group with such an impressive back catalogue should end up like rejects from the X-Factor. The tour should have been The Turn It Off Again ... Read More |

| I saw Pink Floyd at the Albert Hall in the late 1960's and they were spectacular by the standards of the day with their sound effects and strange on stage antics and costumes. However this performance from 1994, fortunately captured on film, is arguably the greatest popular live music and stunning visual performance ever held in the UK. The sound and visual quality of these DVD's is of the highest order. David Gilmour et al are a truly gifted bunch of pensioners.

| Scorcese's long running love affair with music - first cemented with The Last Waltz, confirmed with Bowie's best ever role in "After Hours" and the Dylan documentaries- becomes full scale flesh with "Shine A Light". Ostensibly a record of a Rolling Stones concert in New York, "Shine A Light" is an unwitting comedy classic.
Guffaws could meet every outrageous archive interview statement from a po-faced Keef Richards, every bizarre haircut from the age style forgot with Sir Michael Philip "Mick" Jagger, every craggy faced grimace from the band as they trade out Ancient Rock Riffs, or Jagger as he pouts and preens as a sexagenarian jogs and runs around the stage in an impossibly expensive shirt and becomes a one dimensional walkin' talkin' rock'n'roll cliche. | Stephen and David Dewaele's self-celebratory "Part Of The Weekend Never Dies" turns out to be a pretty solid rockumentary. It's full to the brim with namesdropping and shout-outs (in true "Teachers" style), as if the electro-house legacy was something to vent about. It even stars James Righton of The Klaxons, as bearer of the torch, even though he candidly admits he never cared much about dance music before Soulwax came around. The rest of the gang is also there: a chatty Tiga, a very relaxed James Murphy, an insightful Erol Alkan, Nancy Whang -telling the story of how "NY Excuse" came to be, Justice, Digitalism, So-Me, Busy P. of Ed Bangers Records and Peaches too.
