| Saw this with good friends and totally recommend it to all fans. Ticks all the boxes, lights all the lights, and culminates beautifully in a satisfying conclusion.
The girls (along with their fans) have rightfully moved along in time yet maintain their characters. So you have the perfect combination of the nostalgia value of visiting with old friends together with the freshness of an up-to-date story to sink your emotional teeth into. There is genuine plot tension, drama and tender emotion tempered with plenty of laughs and of course fabulous fashion. Definitely one to buy and watch often! |

| Stardust tells the story of a young man who sets off on a journey to recover a fallen star for his true love, only to find the star as a beautiful woman, and witches and the King's sons are also after her.
Based on Neil Gaimen's novel, this fantasy adventure is interesting and light-hearted, but doesn't have the humour and the true loveable factor to make a true classic. With an exceptional cast which includes several Oscar nominated actors, and zeitgeist stars, this had true potential but in the end there just isn't enough zest to bring it out of a conventional plotline. | The best reviews are always those whose author is well versed in the subject ~ seemingly an obvious point but something that is all too often ignored ~ and if the reviewer also loves his or her subject matter with a passion, so much the better.
It would be hard to find a more poetic, seductive reviewer than this super sexy man, who is clearly first a Venetian and second an Italian! Francesco draws the viewer in like an angler teasing a fish until you are well and truly hooked! | This film is boring and badly acted especially by Miss Knighty. The story not clear and missing vital information from the book well not so much missing but not making it clear.
I looked forward to taking my wife to this and wished I had not it was truly truly bad. She like myself had read the book at some time but seriously felt let down. Would not recommend at all, stay at home with your feet up and watch paint drying its more fun honest! |

| Quite simply the finest drama I have ever seen, I thought series 3 could not get any better but the writers/cast proved me wrong. If I could give it six stars I would. I have never felt so involved in a series before, my only complaint is I watched it too quickly. |

| ******Possible Spoiler******* This film could have been great, or at least very good, but I found it was let down by a juvenile humour and less than great dialogue. If one can overcome the discomfort of a comedy based on the accidental shooting of a child (as a parent this is tough) the plot is great and some of the humour clever and well timed. But in the end, I left the cinema feeling let down. I won't see it again, and would suggest there is better viewing elsewhere. |

| ok, so indiana jones and the kingdom and the kingdom of the crystal skull may not be up there with the likes of schindler's list. it won't win any major awards at the oscars or anything. but it is great fun. in other words, good old fashioned entertainment that should leave you with a great big silly grin after the film's finished.
great performances all the way, harrison ford still as good as ever as indy. but as much fun as this was, please no more. hate to say it, but harrison ford is getting a bit too old and they just about get away with this one. there is too much reliance on cgi and the ending screams close encounters but if you can just switch your brain off for 2 hours and just go with it, you should enjoy it. |

| This was shown on a plane I was on - usually you watch the in-flight movie to the end as there's not all that much to do. With this one - I just couldn't. Sorry, might be ok if this is your first chick-flick ever (even for a chick movie it is dreadful) or if you're thirteen. As for my opinion the acting was dreadful, the conversation terrible, the script forseeable (even for a chick-flick) and just no point to the movie. I usually like chick-flicks for light entertainment - here the entertainment was missing (towards the end most of the passengers had tossed their headsets)... Would give it NO STARS if possible. |
