| Does exactly what you want it to. Of course this is NOT a voltage converter, it merely changes the physical plug from US to UK. As such, the voltage on your American item needs to support the UK 240v. Please ignore the bad reviews of this product, they are from people too stupid to realize this and who plugged an American 115v product into a UK 240v socket, thus blowing fuses. This converter has no 'voltage' of its own.
If your product doesn't support 240v then you need a voltage converter, not just a socket converter. My Zune charger supports 100v-240v, so this works just fine. |

| This little beauty turned up about 2 weeks ago and i must say Iam really chuffed with it! I was looking for something that would charge my ipod and sony erricson phone on the move as I am barely at home or near a mains socket! The power monkey fits the bill perfectly and works really well. i was amazed how long its lasts before having to re-charge it and it comes with every adpater under the sun! You can even charge it via USB! Point to note: it says on the box that and the ipod USB lead (the lead that comes with the ipod) is required to charge an ipod but i used an adapter included in the box that looks like one and it works perfectly! | I've used these bands in the tropics and the Scottish Highlands and they do a good job. Bugs normally feast on me but they stayed away when I was wearing these. They may not be quite as effective as the typical DEET-based sprays, but they are effective for several days, and without the mess (& possible adverse side effects) of sprays. They also smell reasonably pleasant so you won't deter the 2-legged specimens. I use my wit and repartée for that! |
