| Returning from a two week holiday to a front garden rank with the stench of cat faeces was the final straw. My initial musings about using Indiana-Jones style traps to launch the vermin back into my neighbours garden left me questioning my own sanity, so I bought a Big Cheese instead. It works! There were only two turds left in the first week after installation and then nothing after that. Why not five stars? The two 9v batteries (not included) were spent within one month so I've had to connect it up to an old d.c. adapter. A d.c. adapter increases the volume so it's worth using one. NB: It IS audible if you have good hearing and the sound is irritating if you're near it. But in such circumstances you just turn it off. |

| These things REALLY work. Put one in the loft when we found it alive with flies,, and we had to keep emptying the unit.. Well worth the money. |

| Bought 2,placed one on the house wall by the patio, and the local cats walked around the corner then ran along the patio to a spot out of range. The main problem was the dead birds, the second device I placed on a fence near the bird feeders, I realised when two cats were camped under the bird feeder it wasn't effective. I moved the second device to immediately in front of the feeders, no more cats and no more dead birds. |

| It seemed to work for the first 5 days, but then the cat(s) must of gotten used to it - They left a couple of messages 2m & 3m in front of the repeller. Also it is oversensitive and scares away birds as small as starling. It is not in-audible to humans either. |

You hang this feeder from a tree branch or bird table: it needs to be a certain distance from the ground and from other surfaces (to prevent the squirrel from jumping up or across to it). The metal sleeve slides down over the feeder when the squirrel tries to come down from above it to feed (which is why the feeder has to be positioned right). Hard to describe on paper, but it works superbly in practice. Follow the instructions that come with this and you will never be bothered by squirrels again - guaranteed. The best squirrel proof feeder I've ever tried, and I've had it for many months now. No squirrel has managed to defeat it and the birds love it. The peanut version is just as good as well. |
