| My local DIY store was selling these loppers off, so I bought one with a veiw to clearing a hedge area in my garden. I used it solidly for two days cutting a series of branches upto about 3 inches. This cutter made the job very simple and much easier than cutting by hand. As with any chain based cutter you need to oil and tighten the blade periodically and this is a really simple process.
The best feature is the clamps which also cover the blade, this gives a real feeling of safety because it makes it very hard to access the blade during use. Okay I have a large garden but it really did struggle at the slightest pile of leaves and before the day was out I had the burnt smell of death followed by one non functional leaf vac. Got a refund as it was less than two days old and went back to my old compost heap. If you have a small yard with a few little bits to pick up then this would probably do. However if you have a bit of work then forget it. |

| ... it will be easier to manoever, collect better, and probably cut more evenly, too. And you don't have to pick bits of grass out of its air intakes.
OK, goats can't hover, but as other reviewers have pointed out, once the grass box has anything it, neither can this. You won't get the little window either, which is probably a plus since your nose has to be touching it to see anything. Seriously, don't buy one of these. I wish I hadn't. |

| We rely heavily on the good name of Bosch and we have Bosch everything - freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc., all absolutely excellent. Hence our decision to buy a Bosch strimmer. Sadly however it turned out to be useless - the first few times we used it, within seconds of starting the motor, the nylon cutting line recoiled within its own spool and proved almost impossible to re-thread. Plus it's heavy and ungainly. Our worst consumable durable buy for many a long year. |
