| Carcassonne is a brilliant game full of surprises. It's basically just taking a tile and laying it in the right place, but there's a bit of oomph you've to put into it as well, and that is what makes it fun and exciting. I can't wait to get some expansions which are supposed to make it better.
It's price is very good for the game and I'm very pleased with it, it's also very addictive. William. |

| This is a great toy. My 9 year old son has just received the set with the police headquarters. As with most Lego sets, they are easy to make up and look great when finished. I am sure this will provide hours of fun. |

| There are thousands of new games every year. Most of them disappear without a trace. Some acquire a devoted but small following. Just a few become classics. Rummikub is one these.
Invented in Romania in 1940, Rummikub is essentially a tile version of the traditional card game Rummy. It didn't really make it internationally until the 1970s, but by 1980 it had won a string of awards and established itself as a great family game. Basically, it's about creating sets of three or more in a row of tiles either in runs of the same colour (1-2-3-4 etc), or the same number but in different colours. | My 3 year old really loves this toy. I love it because you only need to fill the pen with water, so there is no chance of ink on the floor or the table. The pen is then used to draw on the special white mat which then goes 'magically' pink (my daughter still can't work that one out!). The fun really starts when you switch on the Cinderella figure and watch as she follows the lines drawn on the mat and dances with her prince charming! The Cinderella theme tune is played and brings back a few memories for me too!! This really is a lovely toy. |

| I'd been hanckering after a RC helicopter for a while, and one with at least 3 channels, and this fitted the bill on a special offer price of a little over 20 quid.
6 AA batteries are required for the control unit, from which the helicopter cahrges. It needs about 30 minutes for a good 10 minutes flying. Not pictured on the sales images are the two clear plastic stabilising fins which help it stay stable, but they do work,the front one can be removed when experience is gained. Overall, after the helicopter is trimmed, stable flight can be easily achieved, but it does struggle near the ground as its own draft makes it unsteady. | A game that I bought after reading the reviews and have not been disappointed. It is great fun for the child and the adult and teaches at the same time. Fully recommended. |

| Lego kick off their 2008 Star Wars series with a set from the Expanded Universe range with kit #7667: Imperial Dropship.
After the success of last years Clone Trooper and Battle Droid battle packs it's nice to see Lego continuing with more troop building box sets. The Imperial Dropship is a small planet skimming craft with a cockpit for a pilot, wing mounted cannons and a deployable troop platform to the rear. The cockpit hinges open and closed and the rear tail and thruster assembly pivots up to allow the troop platform to detach. | This has to be the best and most addicting game ever! I love it. It reminds me when I was younger (about 8-10 y.o) when I used to go to the pub with my dad and his friend, I'd make them play it with me all the time and 'bet' money, because I was only young, I obviously had no money, so if they won they got nothing, but whenever I won, they'd give me 50p, I used to leave the pub about a tenner up, haha. I've been trying to find this game for ages, could never find it anywhere, never thought to look on Amazon! So happy I've found it again. |
