| This is one of the best Disney films ever - the story and the songs are brilliant and really catchy. I would love to buy this on DVD as my tape is getting worn. Please Disney do a DVD - everyone loves this film!!! |

| Jerry is a boy growing up on a farm back in the times of "Grundy's General Store" and everyone getting excited when the train comes through town. One calm night, the now-born baby lambs came into the world. They were all healthy little things, but one had black wool instead of white. Jerry, seeing this pathetic little thing, had some sort of connection with it, and loved it from the start. | I have loved the Mickey and the Beanstalk film since I was 3 and I still love watching it (I'm 18!). It's one of the classics that I believe is underrated. The drawings and paint are stunning and the humour is there aswell (I absolutely love Herman, the narrator and Willy the giant!).
Considering it's 60 years old, it's really a fantastic Disney film that should be in anyone's collection. It's a good, old-fashioned tale that will keep children interested and yet, as it's only approx. 30 minutes long it's short enough so as to not make them bored. Give them a classic, rather than the a mass-produced Pixar type film! They don't make 'em like this any more! |
