| This game, like many, has both positive and negative aspects. Once again the subtle combat system is both fun and a challenge - those who claim it is mere button-mashing are missing the finer points of combat, and should look again at how they play. Yes, this method will get you by, but to become a great fighter you have to master the art of blocking, dodging and grappling, as well as hitting your opponents in the face with a baseball bat. The sheer range of characters will mean there is a fighter to suit anyone, from the pace of Sonic to the awkwardness of Olimar and Game and Watch, though yet again the Nintendo mascots Mario and Luigi are grossly overpowered. | This is a fantastic games idea that is really let down by the fact that it uses BMI to work out what fitness level you are at. This is not accurate on Children and it promptly told my 10 year old daughter that she was obese!! - Not the type of message that young impressionable girls (and boys for that matter) should be getting. (Just for the record, my daughter isn't even slightly overweight for her height)
It is a real shame that it has no way of changing the phrasing for people under a certain age, as after all the whole point of this game is to encourage people who need it to exercise. In my opinion it spoils what could be a fantastic game. |

| Let's compare the Wii to games on other next gen consoles first. Now don't get me wrong, GTA-SA (not seen GTA 4 yet), the Halo and Half Life series, to name but a few, are some of the finest games ever made. But you can't have a QUICK game of any of them because each stage of the campaign might take up to an hour to complete. Playing them requires a dogged mindset, which can feel like having to tackle a sinkful of dishes when you only want a clean cup for a quick brew. A lot of modern games have the depth, complexity and epic scope of Wagner's Ring Cycle, but there are times when all you want is a three-minute pop song. You get the picture. The Wii fills this forgotten gap in the market admirably.

| Although there are games where you don't require the Nunchuck it is always handy to have one or your gameplay will be limited. Easy to add on to your controller and allows you to play a whole range of games. |

| great game, the daily training is fun, brain age check is hilarious especially after working a nightshift, think i might be obsessed with playing it daily though.
this game motivates you, makes doing tasks fun and if your friends have it makes for funny conversation. this game wont make you smarter, it will make you think faster. |

| Metal Gear Solid 4 is a brilliantly engineered and very engaging game, but only if played in the right way.
Much like Splinter Cell or Hitman the game revolves around stealth and while it is very tempting to go on a rampage after discovery by an enemy if you do so the fun of the game quickly evaporates, while it is possible to bring your large arsenal of weaponry to bear on the enemy the game becomes incredibly unrealistic and faults in the enemy AI begin to show through. That's not to say you can't take the odd sniper shot at an enemy sentry to ease your way through but I strongly discourage playing this game simply as a shoot em up. | Really enjoyable fun for the whole family to get involved. My 5 year old son is quite a wizz at all of the games. Disc golf and boules are great and the games are easy enough to play, although hubby said you need to know the rules of american football to make it easier to play it. All in all would recommend it as good value for the money. |

| why are all you people who put 1 star reviews about ps3 so negative,, Ps3s are awsome,, theres a lot more to do on a ps3 than on a xbox 360 or a wii,,just because the 40gb ps3 doesnt play ps2 games, does'nt really matter why play ps2 games when you can play ps3 games in high def with great picture quality, i would rather buy ps3 games than stick with my ps2 games, and anyway, thats wot the ps3 is for, new gaming experience,thats what sony is trying to do !!! so why stick around with the ps2 games? |
