| I was quite impressed about this product, once you get over the P&P charge. It's really good! There is a red light indicating when the product is on, and four green lights which light up and indicate the ports that are in use. There is about half a cm gap between each port, which isn't much, but it's good if your memory stick is slim. Cables aren't really an issue, it's plenty of space for several usb cables.
Beware that the mains plug is a massive bulky box, which was a bit of trouble inserting into to an extension cable full of plugs, but no worries otherwise. I read in another review that it didnt shut down with the computer, mine was fine with this problem. I'm running windows XP on a Dell and it's perfectly fine. ... Read More |

| I agree with everyone who gives this device 5* - had mine 18 months with absolutely no troubles. Worked right out of the box and has been trouble free ever since. I've heard other USB hubs have been problematic - if you're worried, then buy this one. |

| Bought this at a good price several days ago.
I needed more usb ports, especially with wireless mouses etc; I'm also about to purchase an additional hard drive to store photographs on. I was runing out of ports and read reviews on this little hub. I was't disappointed. I have windows xp and it took seconds to set up. And there you go, all devices detected and no problems. 5 stars for value for money and it does what it says on the tin!!!!!!! |

| I've had this reader for a few years now and been using it on a G4 iMac. It has performed perfectly well over that time. Please be wary if you're a new buyer though as it won't work with SD cards over 1GB and it won't recognise the SDHC cards that are available now (which weren't around at the time of this products release).
I've had it working fine with a 2GB Compact Flash card and it's been fine on the USB 1 port of my iMac. It's a nice little reader but out of date. You're probably better off getting something more up to date that can handle more. |

| I bought this card to help me flash my Xbox 360 (Benq drive)
I didn't have any sata ports in my motherboard, so I had to buy a sata card with the right chipset (VIA). I found this one, was the cheapest and had the right chipset I was looking for, so bought it right away. And it did just what it was supposed to. Easy to install. It brings a mini-cd with drivers and quick installation guide... I just put the cd, windows recognized the drivers and installed it. Then I used it to flash my xbox 360 drive and it did pretty well. ^^, (The package brings a Sata cable, but I used the one I already had) The cheapest doesn't always mean the worst. | I bought this USB hub on 4 August, and on Friday 12 September, its power supply plug blew out sparks and smoke, and seemed to send a surge through all the USB connections because all USB items that were connected to the hub were blown. I have had to replace the Motherboard on the main system, the keyboard and the external USB 300 Gb hard drive. |
