| I recently purchased myself a set of official Apple Component AV-Cable leads so I could store and watch videos on my iPod for when I went on holiday or stayed at a hotel ect.
I have owned my iPod Component AV-Cables for a few weeks now and would have to recommend them hands down to absolutely anyone who is looking for a perfect solution to watching movies on the go. The picture quality is great on dvd's converted from disc so long as you have decent software and most movies take up no more than 1gb (2gb max) The only thing which is a bit of pain in the butt is having to use the iPod to use functions such as fast forward, rewind play ect because the AV-Cable isn't ideally as long as it could be, also the controls for fast forward ... | I bought the iPAQ to replace my deceased Palm Tungsten E which I liked, but the new Tungstens have had reports of unreliability. On the positive side the iPAQ syncs easily with my Windows XP computer, and was easy to connect with my domestic WiFi, though using the internet on a small screen will always be a limited and frustrating experience.
However I find the Windows Mobile 6 operating system very clunky to use, no quicker than the organiser on my mobile phone. The Palm was far simpler and more intuitive. The real question is whether it is worth having the iPAQ as well as your mobile phone. To make the case it has to do the job better and quicker. | Bought this as Belkin appear to be reputable brand. Whilst not an expert, I am reasonably PC literate and have set up wireless networks (successfully) before. I installed it as per instructions. It went like a dream and I was on the internet in minutes. That night I switch off PC. Next day, switch on - no wireless connection. Try to open Belkin software and it tells me to connect the adapter 1st - it is already connected! No matter what, software won't open and cannot get a connection. Tried various things, including uninstalling and starting from scratch, but no joy. It's going back for a refund tomorrow. |

| I baught this item cos I was doing a mame converstion.. so I needed a one button start up function.. looked everywhere for something like this.. B&Q, homebase Maplin, ebay.. then somehow i saw this.. baught one and it works like a charm.. all did is turned the pc on and the speakers, Marquee light and monitor comes on 5 secs after.. exactly what I wanted to do.. then I baught the item again.. cos of my TV room.. seeing as the living cos was going up.. needed to save some money on electric bill.. this works for TV and sKY, surround sound systems ect too.. god bless ! |

| I have been using a PDA of some kind for at least 12 years but it is now a dying product. The bottom line is that the IPAQ 214 offers no significant computing advantages over my 3 year old O2 XDA II Smartphone. I have also found that because PDAs are getting less support from the manufacturers I have had problems in getting accessories such as extra stylus pens. Having said this, after a few months use it has worked fine with no need to reset as yet. My only negative comment is that it feels quite delicate in construction and that it would break if dropped (as opposed to my O2 XDA that is built like a tank).
The bottom line is that I can't really recommend PDAs any longer because some of the Smartphone are as good as PDAs, if not better. But if you really ... Read More |

| Yes it's big and if you can get by that point it's very quick. It will fit in an average shirt pocket. It becomes more useful when you consider third party applications such as a back up program as it doesn't have one built in.
Best to keep that data safe. I used to use an ipaq 2200 but this is much more connectable with bluetooth and WiFi. When connected it's possible to read most web sites, though they can be a little big for even this screen so you have to use the scroll bars to get around. The screen is good to view powerpoint presentations on, due to it's large size. It also allows you to see more of the spreadsheet. | Looks like a quality item and I was impressed until i just walked past a table which was exactlty the same height as the Blacberry clipped to my belt. The clip broke with fairly minor amount of impact and couldnt be mended. Very poor consideing the quality of the leather is good. So where are we supposed to get decent belt clip pouches if not from the original manufacturer? |

| I bought this item because the screen on my iPaq was broken when using the case it came with. I had the screen repaired and bought this case in the hope that it will protect the iPaq better. So far so good.
The case is quite good but unfortunately it makes the rather light and small iPaq 114 much bulkier. It has gone from the small, drop it in your shirt pocket PDA I had bought into a bulky Jacket pocket item which is rather unfortunate. It seems to be well made and you can use the PDA with it in the case. With my old iPaq I had to take it out of it's case to charge and update it so this is a step forward. I was not happy with the third party company who supplied the item (not Amazon)however. |
