| WD keep updating the outside of the box, but don't seem to have done anything about the fundamental problem which a lot of reviewers (including myself) have experienced: namely, after about 18 months you will get an I/O error, followed by clicks, followed by the disk being totally inaccessible. WD will provide a replacement, but all your data will be lost. This was a great storage solution until the day it died. As a permanent solution, experience has shown it to be unreliable. |

| I've uploaded a couple of photos of what I received from Amazon on 2-Aug-2008; the microSDHC card and SD adapter.
The card works with my HTC-S710 Windows Mobile Smartphone. It amazes me that such a tiny card can hold so much data and cost so little. It's so small that it isn't something I want to take out and put back into my phone on a regular basis because it is so fiddly to handle; I'll leave the data transferring to Bluetooth. |

| I only want to read peoples reviews of the product - not the sellers.
I thought that this product was great and at a fantastic price too. We have come a long way with technology since about 2 years ago it cost £20 for 256mb card!! This card size also means you do not have to carry several cards in their little boxes when you can (hopefully) get all you snaps on the one memory card. If I want to see a 3rd parties reviews I will view them on the Ratings page. |

| What more do you need? I pretty much only ever buy SanDisk when it comes to SD Cards for my camera or phone but I was in the market for a memory stick. Knowing full well 2GB is never enough I stumbled across the SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB whilst acctually looking for a 4GB memory stick. For the sake of a few extra £ I thought why not. I'm VERY impressed. Its fast, does what its supposed too and its smaller than many other USB memory sticks on the market. The only downside I can think of is the cap. Rather than clicking or locking into place it just slides over the usb connector so it "may" be easy to lose if u plan to attach it to a key ring for example. that said i would still recommend this product to anyone. |

| I finally decided to replace my old portable hard drive with something a bit more modern, and this seemed to be a popular choice.
I was delighted when it arrived. It's a very neat piece of technology, small and lightweight, and very smart looking. As a hard drive, it seems, fast, responsive and quiet. I've used it with Windows XP and OSX, and it connected quickly, and without problems. In summary, highly recommended. |

| Plugged it in to my XP and was recognised straight away.
Quick transfers for files, took about 10 minutes to transfer over 5gig for me. Very useful for any type of student who needs something more substantial than just a USB. |

| I bought this product just under a year ago, and had a similar problem to the review below. It was working fine, doing what it was meant to, but then it just stopped working one day. It was not being recognised by any computers, Vista or XP. It would not let me reformat it.
I'm actually so angry because I thought this would be the safest way to back up files and put my music on to save space on my computer, but now I've lost over 60GB of music! |

| I have recently purchased this product and I am delighted about its portability and massive capacity of 320GB. My only disappointment is that
I have been unabled to synchronize this drive with my computer hard drive, as claimed by Western Digital. I am running Windows XP SP3. I am in contact with Western Digital Support, who are great in providing the required advice, and I hope that eventually I will succeed in synchronizing my device with my computer. As a storage device and portability gets full marks. If anybody managed to get this device synchronized with their computer, using Windows XP, please advise me accordingly. Best regards E. | Bought this from Amazon 3 weeks ago, found it easy to use, it's neat and small but would not work on other computers except those with Vista Home Premium, I contacted Freecom by email and found them very helpful and responsive, they said the problem would be solved by powering the Freecom with a mains lead and promptly sent me one free of charge, unfortunately this did not cure the problem so I can't upload anything on to other computers that don't have Vista Home Premium so I just use it as a back up for my files. |
