| The router was fairly easy to set up and maintains connectivity well. However, coverage to some parts of my house is patchy (eg I have to leave the doors open to maintain connectivity). I decided to change the antenna for a more powerful one - a commonly-suggested means to improve coverage. The trouble is that the currently shipping version (v4) of this router has a fixed antenna that CANNOT BE REPLACED.
Earlier versions allowed replacement. |

| This product was really easy to use, and I didn't have driver problems with older versions that other reviewers seemed to have. It even picked up my wireless signal in the garden (I live in a flat so this was quite a task).
The problem is that it overheats, and will show as being disconnected until it decides it wants to give me a connection again. |

| I bought this adapter when I purchased a new Vista Business based PC which I linked to the BT HomeHub 2.0. Set-up was easy and I was impressed for quite some time. However suddenly I was unable to access the Internet after closing down my PC and re-booting. The only solution was to remove all the Netgear s/w from the PC and reload from the CD after that all was fine until I next closed down my PC. Every time I boot up my PC I have to go through the laborious process of s/w removal and re-installation before I can get back onto the internet. I have been in contact with Netgear engineers but after many messages between us the problem remains unsolved. I have just bought a different adapter after finally giving up on this battle |

| I bought one and it worked great...for about 2 weeks. It seemed to have completely died. No light, no life. Amazon quickly sent me a replacement, great! The second one worked great...for about 1 1/2 weeks. Same thing, no light, no life. I haven't even gotten the first one in the post back to Amazon. Now I'm out of pocket for the return mailing costs for two of them. It obviously works for a lot of people, but, sadly, I'm not one of them. |

| I have been using this equpment for just over a month now. I am totally satisfied with its performance and have now placed my company records and data bases on it. I now intending purchasing a second unit to provide both an additional backup and greater storage.
The Memeo software was slow. I have always used Acronis True Image and this software has functioned correctly with the unit. An additional USB drive attached to the Linkstation has been used to back up our data base without fault. Nil problems have arisen when using the Linkstation as a print server.
