| Wow, what a difference a charger makes. I use eneloup batteries for my off camera flash units --the Nikon SB 800 and Nikon SB 600 -- both really eat up battery energy. Since switching from my cheaper charger to this one, the battery life is really notably extended. Much less aggravation than with the old, cheap charger. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for |

| Well our first weather station is still working. The remote outdoor sensor just died after 4 plus years of working. Maybe we just got lucky after reading other reviews. Something that sticks in my mind though is, I think it is important to protect your sensor from the elements. Either find a well protected overhang on your house or hidden area out of the elements of rain and snow. You are also not to hang it in direct sunlight for obvious false temperature reasons. Another thing is screw the unit down. My father-in-law went the easy way using the adhesive tape. Sounds great but it doesn't work. It fell a few months later and broke of course. Hope the new sensor works just as long. |

| On the kitchen counter the unit worked okay. The next day, on a lab station at work, the unit would not communicate with the reciever. I would move the wind vane and blow through the anemometer with no reading. Tech support suggested new AA batteries with an exp date of 2015 and a min voltage of 1.48. So, I found some batteries that met the spec (checked them myself) and tried again. Well, it shows windspeed and directon about 30% of the time. Checked and rechecked connections and batteries to no avail. I really need the anemometer to work consistently. I returned the unit. |

| Had this for a little over a week and very happy with it. Outside air temp monitor was a breeze to set up and works great. Clock periodically checks itself against the time standard in Colorado and corrects as necessary. It even automatically changes with daylight saving time. Very convenient.
Best feature is the projected time and outside temp. The display toggles between the two every 2 seconds or so. The room has to be darkened to read it which is fine with me. Easy to read even with my glasses off but not bright enough to distract you from sleep. Easy to position the projection no matter what the physical orientation of the projector is. | This clock is easy to set up. Just read the included instructions. Some negative reviews here could easily be attributable to not reading the instructions. Just read, people!
The clock itself works great. Mine took about four minutes after plugging in to set itself to the atomic clock in Colorado. The time projection is easily readable and unobtrusive. It can also be easily turned on or off with a large switch on the side of the base. I like the alarm. It starts with a slow, steady beep and steadily increases in volume and rapidity until you can ignore it no longer. Snooze works great at eight-minute increments. | I just ordered this item in July and it has stopped working already! It started out by giving false readings that weren't even close to the right temps. Now it doesn't even register the indoor temp. at all.This is the second weather station that I have had from this company and I haven't had one that works. The first one I purchased a few years ago didn't work from day one. I thought that they might have improved them since the first one I purchased but I guess I was wrong. Save your money and don't purchase items from this company!!! |

| I wanted an indoor thermometer to get an idea of how warm it got in my apt in the summer (to see how hot I could tolerate) and to see how cold it gets in the winter. It's useful to see how the temperature changes indoors. It's exactly what I was expecting and is easy to read from across the room. As far as I can tell it seems accurate. I recommend this product. It's not too fancy but it looks nice sitting on a shelf or side table. |
